Treatment Timing & Scheduling

 

We recommend beginning IVF support acupuncture about 3 months before your cycle for optimal preparation. If you’re starting treatment closer to or during a cycle, care can be adapted to meet your needs.

Typical treatment scheduling includes:

• Weekly sessions leading up to IVF

• Sessions before and after embryo transfer

• Ongoing weekly support following IVF transfer, including early pregnancy if desired

Use of Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbs may be used before IVF cycles to support overall health. Herbs are not prescribed during active IVF medication to avoid potential interactions and ensure treatments do not interfere with medical protocols.
