PAIN AND INJURY MANAGEMENT

Acupunctue for Pain Adelaide

After years of being in practice the most common thing we see is people in physical pain.   It could be caused by a sports injury, repetitive movements at work, an accident or chronic health condition.  Acupuncture can have a dramatic impact on chronic and acute pain.  In fact in 2017 acupuncture is now recommended as a first-line therapy for chronic and acute lower back pain by the American College of Physicians with non-steroidal anti-inflammatories to be considered if non-drug therapies fail.  Acupuncture is a drug-free alternative for pain reduction.    It's important to commit to the schedule we provide for best results.  We all want the quick-fix and in many acute issues this can be achieved but the majority of what we see in clinic is chronic pain.  It takes time to achieve lasting results so some patience is required on your part.  We can use a variety of techniques such as Distal Acupuncture, Motor Point Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Tuina, and Bowen technique.  Usually a combination of these works best.If you have pain conditions like lower back pain, neck pain, migraine headache or maybe arthritis in the knees then we know how to get you back to doing the things you love.
